Walking in the Valley

There are loads of natural sites to explore in the Valley, connecting us all with the nature on our door step. We've designed a series of walks that allow you to explore and engage with our wonderful local area.

Rail to Trail walks

Our Rail to Trail walks allow you to explore the valley without needing your car. Exploring two different parts of the valley, these walks are a great way to spend an afternoon, showcasing the best that the Blackwater valley has to offer without the stress of having to find a parking space!

Circular walks

We've designed 12 circular walks, which explore the history and wildlife of the Blackwater Valley, along the borders of Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire.

The walks vary in distance and accessibility and encompass all aspects of the Valley.

They introduce the many nature reserves, country parks, woodlands and meadows which can be found in the area.
