This is an event for those keen to do 'real' river work and don't mind getting wet!
Be part of a team building in-river structures to create micro-habitats for the wildlife, and clear overgrown vegetation from the realigned stretch of the River Blackwater.
The task will last around four hours, all tools and equipment is provided, as well as refreshments.
Wellies are recommended, as well as clothing suitable for working outdoors.
This event is suitable for families with children over between 4 and 13 years old if accompanied by an adult. Dogs must be kept on a lead.
Meet at 10.00am at Horton's Mound, Tice's Meadow.
Booking is not required - just turn up.
