This walk is a guided walk to find and identify wild flower species. It passes through a wet meadow, so please wear appropriate footwear. The walk is part of the Sandhurst Flower and Culture Festival, in conjunction with the Chelsea Fringe. There is no charge for this event but booking by email is essential.
The walk will take place in an unspoilt nature reserve between the Sandhurst Memorial Park balancing pond and the River Blackwater, called Blackwater Reach Meadow. This area contains dozens of species of beautiful early summer flowers - some of which are rare.
We’ll supply the expert help – you can bring your flower book if you have one!
