A list of walks and talks has been organised during 2008 for your enjoyment.  

 

11th April – A talk on The Blackwater Valley and its birds is being given by Colin Wilson at the Crowthorne Natural History Group in the Parish Hall, Heath Hill Road, Crowthorne, starting at 8.00pm. This meeting is to support the Natural History Group and a nominal charge of £3 will be made.

 

16th April  – Bird Walk around Rowhill Nature Reserve to be led by Colin Wilson starting at 9.30am in the car park at Rowhill map ref SU848499.

 

7th May  – Bird Walk through Bramshill Forest to be led by Colin Wilson starting at 9.30am. Meet at car park at SU740613 on road between A327 at Eversley and B3011 Hartley Wintney to Heckfield road.

 

18th June  – Dragon/Damsel Fly Walk from Ash Lock to Lakeside to be led by Ken Crick stating at 13.30pm. Meet at Ash Lock BVCP Offices. Subject to dry weather conditions.

 

20th July  The Butterflies and other insects walk through Lakeside Park to be led by Bernard Baverstock. Meet at the car park at Lakeside Park, Lakeside Road, Aldershot (off B3411) at 10.30am .

 

8th August  – Moth night at Hawley Meadows to be led by Colin Proudley. Meet in the car park at Hawley Meadows (opposite Watchmoor Park Industrial Estate) at 9.30 pm as sunset is about 9.40 pm and moths are not expected to be out until 10ish.

 

19th September – Evening Bat Walk through Sandhurst Memorial Park to be led by Steve Bailey. Meet in the car park at Sandhurst Town Council Offices just before dusk (to be advised).

 

28th October – Annual General Meeting starting at 7.30pm at Sandhurst Memorial Hall.

The topic for the evening will be advised nearer the time.

16th October 2007 at Sandhurst Town Council Offices. 
The Annual Report and the Accounts were accepted by the members present.
